    This Is Not an Investment.
    This Is a Movement.

We are building a collective of visionary investors, entrepreneurs, and stewards who believe the future of travel — and the future of how we live — begins with the courage to do things differently.

    The Hero's Call

Somewhere between the way things are and the way things could be, there is an island that has been waiting.

Sumba is one of the last wild frontiers in Southeast Asia — an island where ancient Marapu spirituality still governs life, where horses roam free across savanna grasslands, and where the ocean meets untouched coastline for hundreds of kilometres.

But this isn't a story about what Sumba is. It's a story about what Sumba can become — if the right people show up.

    The Collective

    Alone, You're an Investor.
    Together, We're an Ecosystem.

Live Sumba is building a formal association of sophisticated investors who share a common vision: that tourism can regenerate rather than extract, that technology can serve nature rather than replace it, and that collective action creates outcomes no individual could achieve alone.

Through structured membership, shared governance, and transparent community engagement, every member has a voice — and every voice shapes the future of this island.

"The strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack."

    Ancient Wisdom

    We Don't Come to Teach.
    We Come to Learn.

The Sumbanese people have lived in harmony with this land for thousands of years. Their Marapu traditions teach that the land is not owned — it is borrowed from future generations. That water is sacred. That the act of building must begin with ceremony and gratitude.

This wisdom isn't quaint folklore — it's the blueprint for survival on a planet that desperately needs new models. We don't preserve indigenous culture as a museum piece. We integrate it as living knowledge that shapes how we build, how we operate, and how we measure success.

Every development honours local land customs. Every project creates direct employment and ownership pathways for Sumbanese communities. This is partnership, not patronage.

    Our Pillars

The Six Pillars of the Collective

Every decision, every partnership, every structure is built on these non-negotiable foundations.

    Collective Strength

A formal association of passionate investors who share resources, knowledge, and vision. Together, we hold more weight than any individual — in negotiation, in development, in shaping policy.

    Regenerative by Design

Every project restores more than it takes. Renewable energy, permaculture, water harvesting, and regenerative agriculture are not add-ons — they are the foundation.

    Cultural Integrity

We don't build over indigenous wisdom — we build with it. Marapu principles of reciprocity, ceremony, and deep respect for the land guide every decision.

    Technology & Collective Intelligence

The City of Muse is an AI technology and systems homebase for collective impact cooperatives. Smart infrastructure, AI-driven management, IoT environmental monitoring, and blockchain-verified land titles — powering transparent, regenerative economies at scale.

    Wellness Tourism Redefined

Not spa retreats with ocean views — but genuine transformation. Guests don't just visit; they participate in restoration, ceremony, and community. Tourism becomes a force for healing.

    Seven-Generation Thinking

Inspired by indigenous philosophy: every decision is measured by its impact on the next seven generations. Short-term profit never overrides long-term flourishing.

    The Future

Wellness Travel, Reimagined from the Ground Up

The global wellness tourism market is projected to reach $1.4 trillion by 2027. But most of it looks the same — generic spas, imported aesthetics, disconnected from the land it sits on.

We're building something radically different. Wellness retreats powered entirely by renewables. Smart buildings that monitor air quality, water purity, and energy use in real time. Experiences rooted in genuine Sumbanese ceremony — not curated for Instagram, but transformative by nature.

The future of tourism isn't about escaping life.
    It's about returning to it.

    The Experience Engine

    Every Visitor Connected.
    Every Guide Empowered.

Live Sumba's integrated booking platform acts as the ecosystem's own OTA — connecting every visitor with the full bounty of experiences Sumba has to offer. Waterfall treks, cultural immersions, wellness journeys, culinary adventures — all curated and facilitated by Su.Mba graduates.

Through a structured profit-share model, guides and facilitators earn a direct stake in every experience they deliver. No middlemen. No extraction. The platform creates reliable, transparent business systems that allow the community to function, thrive, and grow — on their own terms.

    Ecosystem Connectivity

Villas, retreats, restaurants, and adventures linked in one seamless visitor journey

    Seven Generations

In many indigenous traditions, leaders are taught to consider the impact of their decisions on the next seven generations — roughly 175 years into the future.

This is our north star. Not quarterly returns. Not five-year plans. But the question: will the children of our children's children look back and say we got this right?

That means building structures that outlast us. Systems that regenerate without human intervention. Communities that can govern themselves. And an island that is wilder, healthier, and more abundant than when we arrived.

Ky Wolf, founder of Live Sumba

    The Founder

    Ky Wolf

A product of the Back to the Land movement — a 20,000-member autonomous collective that built its own food systems, schools, and governance from the ground up. By 14, Ky was leading a vocational school and running a regenerative organic food company that sustained its entire operating budget.

Three decades later — after scaling a $50M+ organic cooperative, restoring ecosystems, surviving a near-fatal health collapse, and pioneering neurogenic wellness in Bali — everything converges in Live Sumba.

This isn't his next project. It's his life's work arriving at its destination.

    The Vision Realised

    The City of Muse

A closed-loop eco-city for 3,600 residents — powered by renewables, governed by community, and designed in the Modern Sumba Tribal tradition. Beyond a living community, the City of Muse serves as an AI technology and systems homebase for collective impact cooperatives — where intelligent infrastructure meets indigenous wisdom to model regenerative economies at scale.
