How to Get Here
The journey is part of the arrival
By Air
Fly into Tambolaka Airport (TMC) in West Sumba or Waingapu Airport (WGP) in East Sumba. Daily connections from Bali (DPS) via Wings Air and NAM Air — the flight takes approximately 1 hour.
Bali → Tambolaka: ~1hr
From Bali
Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport is the main gateway. International travelers connect through Bali before the short domestic hop to Sumba. Some routes also connect via Kupang or Ende.

April through November brings dry season — golden light, clear skies, and the iconic Pasola festival in February–March. The green season (Dec–Mar) offers lush landscapes and fewer visitors.
